Driver Bio - Jesse Smith


Jesse Smith was born on August 8th of 1989 in St. Louis Missouri in which he still lives.
Smith started out with a love for racing at a young age.

At 3 he started to ride and race motorcycles. His first race in quarter midgets was at the age of 5. He quickly moved up through the ranks and won numerous national championships in JSCA (Junior Sprint Cars of America).

At age 9 Jesse moved up to racing Bandoleros. In this series, Jesse won multiple races on both road courses and ovals including the national championship in 2001. When Smith turned 12 he then moved up to racing legend cars which he would once again win multiple races. In 2002, Jesse won the national dirt championships and then the pavement championship soon followed in 2003. Jesse then moved up to racing late models at the age of 15 in the ASA Series and became the youngest ever to win an ASA Late Model Series event.

Now at the age of 16 Jesse continues running the ASA Late Models Series and is gunning for the North series championship. Where he has recorded a 2nd, 3rd, and a 3rd in the first 3 races of the season. With these finishes, he is leading the points after 3 events. In his free time, Jesse likes to ride motocross, snow ski, and ride anything that goes fast.
